We are the Northampton Group (Ramblers Northampton). We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Walking from Rothersthorpe we head towards Bugbrooke before heading towards Pattishall, Astcote and Tiffield. We walk through the pocket park along the course of the old railway line before stopping for a late lunch in Gayton. After lunch its mainly downhill back to Rothersthorpe.
Mainly field paths, some tow paths and quiet roads.
Lunch at the Eykyn Arms in Gayton. I will phone through an order when we start to save time.
Please park considerately in Church Street and meet at the top of the road near the cemetery. Church Street is very busy between 8:30 and 9:00am with parents dropping children at school and nursery. You will find it easier to park if you arrive from 9am onwards.
