Overview

Meet at 1030.am outside Clapham Common Underground station (Northern line). Join me for a stroll around Clapham Old Town, with its village-like feel and history. Discover two churches very much associated with the abolition of the slave trade, view some fine houses occupied by several well-known people, and learn about the history of the Common through the ages. We shall finish at Clapham South station (Northern Line) with its nearby memorial to the Windrush generation. Toilets and refreshments.
