Overview

This circular walk will commence at the recreation ground, Pound lane, Clifton. Through mainly open countryside with good views across the Teme valley. Stopping at the ancient St. Bartholemew's church at lower Sapey. Architecturally this is a simple two-cell building of sandstone with tufa quoins , a rare example of an almost unchanged rustic Norman church and it is this, primarily, which gives it's importance.

Moderately hilly. Some stiles.

Please bring drinks, snacks and a packed lunch.
