Overview

A circular walk through fields and a woodland, next to a large disused quarry with good paths and tracks and wonderful views. We will follow an old railway track for a while, past industrial activity and through the Coed y Felin nature reserve.

The starting point is the car park next to Coed y Felin Nature Reserve. Travelling from Mold to Denbigh road on the A541, turn right just before entering the village of Hendre on to a minor road with the car park on the left after 50 metres.
