This Amble celebrates the Viking Way and the dramatic views it gives across the Witham and Trent valleys. The route, of little more than 5 miles, crosses the fields to Boothby Graffoe. From there the walk is on the Viking Way to Navenby. There is a short tour around the village. The return leg to Coleby is by the Viking Way all the way
Walking is on good footpaths with short distances on village streets. There are four stiles. After the wet winter there are a few muddy patches. The start can reached by Stagecoach service No. 1 from Lincoln Central Bus Station.
