We are the Bath Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A lovely, varied walk through fields, up and down slopes with good views, through woods and alongside rivers. Only one stile.
Some sections of the route may be muddy, and you may find walking poles useful. Please bring a drink and a snack for an elevensies stop. Dogs are not permitted.
If you would like to bring a picnic, there are fields at the end of the walk to eat lunch.
Optional drinks in the Compton Inn after the walk. Booking advisable if you would like a pub lunch.
Meet 9.45 am opposite the Compton Inn, Compton Dando, BS39 4JZ, for 10.00 am start. Once in Compton Dando, park along the main road, opposite the village hall and Compton Inn. Or, if you plan to use the pub after the walk, you could park at the top of their car park.
