Overview

A walk from the Savill building to the Obelisk and past Smiths Lawn to Ox Pond and up to the Copper Horse monument. There are wonderful views across the surrounding area. After a break we return via Bishopsgate and Rhododendron Walk to the Savill building. There are refreshments and toilets in the Savill building. We have an option of visiting the Savill Gardens to see the spring flowers and shrubs. Entry to the Savill Gardens will be generously arranged by one of our members. Meet in the Savill Gardens car park, Wick Lane, near the picnic tables in front of the entrance to the Savill building. The car park is free to members or pay on exit (£3 per hour) Car share can be organised from the free memorial car park on Coopers Hill Lane, Englefield Green TW20 0GP at 9.45am. When booking the walk please indicate if you would like to car share to the Savill Gardens car park.
