Overview

We visit South Wheal Frances, Carn Brea, St Euny Church (the Miners Church) and the other Basset mines along the Great Flat Lode. 10am start. Meet in South Wheal Frances car park SW 681 393 (it’s in Google maps under that name).

10.5 miles. 6 hours. This is a ‘figure of eight’ walk with lunch taken back at the start point car park. Option to opt out of the 5 miles after lunch. Moderate. Boots, food and drink. After the walk take a 6 minute drive to Miss Molly’s Tearooms (TR14 8RR) for a well earned cup of tea (open to 5.30).
