We are the Cornwall South & West Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Lunch at The Old Quay House, Hayle at 12.30 followed by a brief AGM. There will also be a short walk in the morning around Hayle
The trail is approx 5.5 miles of easy walking showing many aspects of Hayle’s Industrial past, now a World Heritage site . Firstly around Carnsew pool at the Foundry end of Hayle to the wetlands of Copperhouse pool at the opposite end and back via tram tracks to the Millpond and Plantation area. Hopefully an interesting and informative walk before heading back to The Old Quay House for lunch. Christmas jumpers and hats optional and welcome.
The walk starts at 10.30 but please turn up from 09.45 to book and pay for your meal.
