We are the Taunton Deane Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
The walk is in two sections (see below) from the Cadbury Castle car park, across fields through Whitcombe Medieval Village to Whitcombe farm and up to Corton Beacon, where we can eat our lunch. Then down to Corton Denham and back along Corton Ridge and up to Cadbury Castle Hillfort. Beautiful 360 views. Section 1: from S Cadbury to Corton Denham. A long hill up the road to Corton Beacon. Down to Corton Denham and back along Corton Ridge. Mostly minor roads and grassy track. 1 - 2 stiles. approx 5.5 miles Section 2: from the car park to Cadbury Castle. The track up to the Castle is steep and stony, once at the top grassy track around the ramparts. approx 1.5 miles

Meet at Taunton Gateway Park and Ride TA3 5LU near the exit at 11.00am to share lifts or at Cadbury Castle car park ST 632 253 at 12 midday. Bring a packed lunch.
