Overview

This peaceful canal walk starts with a bus Trip to Cotgrave. We get off at the Manvers Arms and head off behind All Saints Church to Woodgate Lane. Crossing field paths we pick up the Grantham Canal which leads us to the River Trent. We cross over Trent Bridge and back to Nottingham along the Nottingham and Beeston Canal.

This linear walk is mainly on canal towpaths but the field paths at the start are often wet or muddy. 
Lunch stop will be at Gamston. Please bring a packed lunch. 
Toilets are available in Nottingham City Centre and at Morrisons at Gamston.
