Overview

A walk on high moorland offering (weather permitting) panoramic views in all directions. The route will be Edenfield, New Hall, Foe Edge, Cragg Quarry, Hail Storm Hill, Fecit Hill, Turn, Shuttleworth, Stubbins and back to Edenfield. The walk is mainly on good paths and tracks, with only a few short muddy sections.

The car park at the Rostron Arms is normally P&D (£3), but it is free to pub customers. If you intend to go into the pub after the walk use the car park, but don't pay. Otherwise park nearby and consult Mike Lee about parking arrangements. Please do not park on Exchange Street.
