Overview

 Description
This is a 6 mile linear C walk with minimal ascent. The walk starts at Cramond Beach car park and then goes alongside the River Almond to Cramond Brig. The walk continues to Lauriston Castle on quiet roads and a railway path between golf courses, where there are potentially good views of the Forth and Fife, gardens and toilets. The walk then continues across another Silverknowes golf course and then goes downhill to Cramond front and back to the car park.

Although the ascent is minimal there are some steep steps both up and down alongside the river Almond.
Paths can be muddy, especially if the river has flooded. Poles and gaiters recommended.
