Overview

Crossing the Cramond Brig we will follow the River Almond down to Cramond Island Causeway, crossing the 1 mile causeway we will walk round the island and return to Cramond Beach.
Timing of lunch / coffee breaks will depend on timing safe crossing.

Arrive at causeway 10:15 am. Causeway 20 minute walk, Island Circular 1hour, Causeway return 20minutes.

There are two long sets of steps to navigate as we head down the River Almond, these can be slippy if wet. There is a narrow set of steps from the beach onto the concrete causeway which need attention.
