Overview

This walk starts in Cropston and skirts Anstey through farm fields and approaches Bradgate downhill with lovely views.  We pass the visitors centre in the park then head uphill across the park to take the path out to Swithland woods.  We cut across the wood passing the quarry pool, through fields to the road beside Cropston resovoir and back to the start. Couple of stiles, little bit of mud!  Option of lunch in the pub which can be ordered in advance. Do let Anita know if you are planning on lunch and we can book a table.  There will be a coffee stop on the walk at the visitors centre in Bradgate park
