Visit the highest hill in England outside of and with fine views of the Lake District - a long and sustained climb, a high plateau and a long descent. Walkers with dogs, or this who just don't like cows may avoid suckler cattle with a diversion via Blencarn mainly on tarmac lanes, adding 1.7 miles
