Dalmeny/Dundas Castle Circular Walk

Grade: C Very flat. Approximately 7 miles
Walk Description:
The walk begins at the bench on the green in Dalmeny, near the Church.
From Dalmeny, we walk along the old railway line up to Kirkliston and across into The Dundas Estate with its lovely scenery. Hopefully the rhododendrons will be in full bloom along the drive. We return to Dalmeny on a path through the houses which border South Queensferry

Driving Directions:
From Currie it’s approximately 30 minutes. Down to Calder Road, along Bypass to Gogar Roundabout and Mayberry Roundabout to Barnton Junction. Turn Left to join the A 90 to South Queensferry and Forth Road Bridge. Take 2nd exit to to Dalmeny and South Queensferry. About a mile along the road there is a little white Gate Cottage on the right and a sign post indicating a road to Dalmeny to the left. Follow the road about 1/2 mile to the village. There is parking along the green near the Church. Further parking down on the Left and round the corner at the bottom on the left
