Overview

We cross the River Mole by the stepping stones (optional!) or bridge, then climb 430 feet to the Box Hill viewpoint, taking easy paths where possible. We then stop at the cafe, before climbing gently to Juniper Top and descending to the Thames Down Link. Next comes a 200-foot climb up Charley Mount, and a descent to Mickleham where we stop for lunch.

We then cross the Mole again at Cowslip Farm, before a 320-foot climb to the Druids Grove benches and Norbury Park. The walk concludes by passing the Westhumble chapel ruins (under construction!) and, after a gentle climb to the North Downs Way, descending through the Denbies vineyard to the start point.
