Overview

We set off through Cwm George, then Dinas Powys woods to reach Michaelston-le-Pit. We then walk along 'the lawns' to Caerau Iron Age Hillfort and the remains of St. Mary's church built in the 13th century. Our return is via Beauville Farm and Coed Twyncyn.

Following a recce which was very wet underfoot I shall be wearing wellies. As we walk through puddles over ankle deep so I would recommend wearing wellies.

I look forward to seeing you on the walk.
