This urban and canal walk takes us through some of the areas of the East End that have seen regeneration and change over the years. Starting at Limehouse we head up the Limehouse Cut canal towards Stratford. We pass the Olympic Stadium (now home of West Ham United football club) and return southwards taking in Victoria and Mile End Parks, following the canal. We finish back in Limehouse where there is the option to have a drink at the Clement Attlee pub, named after Britains first post war Prime Minister, who was MP for Limehouse.
There will be a short lunch stop, for food and refreshment so please bring refreshment and food as appropriate.
