We are the Hike on Lancashire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Want to get into walking? Why not join us in our annual “Super Six” campaign of easy post Christmas and New Year walks specifically aimed at encouraging people who wish to give walking in the Lancashire countryside a try.
We guarantee a warm welcome, a smattering of humour and the likelihood of some mud so please ensure you wear suitable footwear and bring a waterproof jacket.
Starting in Dolphinholme a circular walk along sections of the Wyre Way with great views of the Forest of Bowland and Morecambe Bay. Drink afterwards in the nearby Fleece Inn. Mainly good going under foot but likely to be muddy in places.
Walk starts at 10.30am. Meet at the entrance to Dolphinholme Church in village centre. Parking on village centre roads - car sharing encouraged to reduce impact on village. Sorry no dogs.
