Overview

Set off from the village of Dolphinton and head towards Garvald house through fields and woodland.

Continue past Ferniehaugh Farm and pond. Marked Medwynbank on the OS map. Take the moorland road to the edge of the golf course at West Linton.

The return takes us along the old Roman Road passing South Slipperfield, Hardgatehead and Ingraston farm.
