We are the West Dorset Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A circular walk from Beaminster via Lewesden Hill, Laverstock Farm, Pilsden Pen and back via the Monarch’s Way. Bring a picnic. Dogs welcome but please check with walk leader when booking and read notes below.
Please telephone/text Heather G on 07587 098079 to book your place at least 24 hours in advance. Please inform the leader if you are unable to attend.
Observe the Country Code. Please advise the walk leader if you wish to drop behind.
Clothing and footwear: Walking boots (or wellies); appropriate waterproof clothing,
Dogs: Dogs at leader’s discretion Walkers with Registered Assistance Dogs are welcome, but be aware of hills and stiles. Inform the leader beforehand.
Safety: Each member should take steps to eliminate or minimise the potential for an accident. Any accident must be reported to the leader immediately, who will decide if it’s necessary to complete an Accident Form for Head Office. Please advise the walk leader (in confidence) prior to the walk if you have any underlying health concerns or existing health conditions.
