Leaving Alfick with magnificent views we head out to Leigh via a motte at castle green and on to St Edburga Church for lunch. Here you can explore Leigh Court Barn which is an outstanding example of English medieval carpentry, and the largest cruck framed structure in Britain. Built for Pershore Abbey in about 1325, it has 18 cruck blades - each made from a single oak tree. The church of the same age is also worth a visit. After lunch we meander our way back through Brockamin and Hayley Dingle to Alfrick
A fairly flat walk with a few stiles, expect mud.
Bring a packed lunch and drink.
The community cafe in Alfrick offer great cake and sandwiches, but beware it closes at 12 on Saturday
