Overview

From the carpark at Dovestones Reservoir we head along the easy path passing Yeoman Hey and Greenfield reservoirs, then head up the side of Birchen Clough, which is a scramble in some places, but not difficult. We then walk along the edges to view the Trinnacle, then across the moore to Chew Reservoir for lunch. We cross to the other side and head along the edges to Alphin Pike and descend to a country lane back to the start point.
