We are the Devon Bootlegs Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Starting from the car park on Plasterdown by the Grimstone and Sortridge leat. We will walk across the downs then following footpaths and quite country lanes we will make or way to Sampford Spinney Passing through the Grimstone mine workings on the way ,then Back up onto the Moor to return to our Cars. Generally alot of the walk is quite flat and if the ground is dry easy walking . But as the Autmun so far has been very wet it is likely to be muddy and there are several stiles.
