We are the North Hampshire Downs Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Winter walks can often be muddy experiences. This is a 90% mud free Downland track walk with the added bonus of fantastic views across to the Winchester South Downs. So come with confidence that this will be lovely walk experience….even in the wet!
Depending on weather and conditions and group preference, this walk can be extended to 11.5 miles on the day. If extended there will be 2 short snack breaks.
The return track is along the ancient Wayfarers track.
The walk starts from Dummer Cricket Centre just off the A30. There is a quality cafe facility (Honesty Dummer Down) for a social cuppa and cake at the end.
