Starting from Dunure Harbour the path leads gently up to the ruins of Dunure Castle and follows a grassy cliff top path with great coastal views before descending down to the sandy beach of Croy Bay and onwards to Culzean Castle. From there the path goes through the attractive Culzean Country Park and passes the Swan Pond before descending back down to follow the coast to Maidens.

Travel to start of walk by private bus. Pick up points in Cumbernauld: 8:50am - Craiglinn Roundabout Bus Stop 8:55am - Condorrat Main Road Bus Stop. 9.00 am - Park at car park for Cumbernauld New Town Hall, Bron Way, Cumbernauld G67 2LP Then make your way to the bus stop on Bron Way (left out car park) (see map) **** Bus back at Cumbernauld approximately 6pm. ****
