As the name suggests, there are several steep uphill sections to the walk. Most of the walk is on good paths but there are some sections that were muddy on the recce, so good footwear is essential. There were several stiles, most in good repair. As some of the route is in urban areas there will be some road walking and we will need to cross a couple of busy roads. Public toilets are available at a couple of places on the route. Refreshments after the walk either at the Pump Room tea rooms, or the Rose Tree pub.

Features

  • Refreshments available (Pub/cafe)
