We are the Ipswich and District Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A circular walk starting from East Bergholt village car park.
We will walk along a quiet lane to Flatford, taking in views of the Stour Valley. At Flatford we will pass Willy Lotts cottage, use National Trust paths joining public footpaths & a short section of the quiet lane back to our starting point.
There is one stile, with a dog lift gate. Dogs on leads are welcome.
There are toilets at the start & at Flatford.
It may be muddy in places.
There is a cafe in the village where we will stop for a drink, something to eat should you wish. We hope to sit in the courtyard garden, where dogs are allowed. Fingers crossed for dry weather!
