Circular walk starting at the public carpark at Prestonkirk off Preston Road, East Linton.

Please park at the far end of the car park to allow for church goers to park nearer to the church.
 
We start at Prestonkirk carpark then through the back streets of East Linton, across the park, and past the standing stone.  We walk through Pencraig wood and Overhailes.  At the river Tyne we cross over to Hailes Castle for a look around, then back across the river which we follow to East Linton.  We walk through the town, up past Phantassie Farm and the Dovecot and back to Prestonkirk.

This is a fairly easy walk with mostly good paths but there are some gentle hills and some steps.
 
Meet at MIBC at 9:30am for car sharing or meet at the public carpark by Prestonkirk 10:15am.  Look for the parking sign for Prestonkirk off Preston Road. Phone or text walk leader to join walk.  Leaders to meet group at Prestonkirk car park.
