Eastbourne/Hasting Weekend Away: Saxon Shore Way and Fairlight Coastal Walk (17 miles, Linear)

Join us as we start out on the 1066 Country path though the fields and over countryside the path takes us up hills and though rolling landscape before arriving in the pretty village of Icklesham. We continue on the path as it drops down though the fields and farmland to take us to the next East Sussex village of Winchelsea where we will stop for a late packed lunch.

The afternoon starts by joining the Saxon Shore Way heading west along the Royal Miltary Canal to the coast and hamlet of Fairlight and around the cove after stopping for a drink in the pub. Leaving the cove, we climb up into Hastings Country Park following the clift edge all the way back to Hastings.
