Overview

We take the St Cuthberts Way from Melrose up to the saddle between Eildon Hill North and Eildon Mid Hill. We then descend to Bowden Loch before crossing the road to walk over to Cauldshiels Hill and returning to Melrose. Mainly good paths but some very muddy sections. Short section on road.
