Overview

This is a lovely autumn woodland walk. From Elloughton village we cross the A63 via a pedestrian bridge, then reach the woods of South Wolds Plantation and Elloughton Dale, with fabulous views of the River Ouse.  Then on through more woodland to Welton Wold Plantation and Welton Top, eventually reaching Welton village and our picnic lunch stop.  Finally climbing the hill out of Welton, we follow the route of the Beverley 20, with more fine views before returning to Elloughton.
