We are the Bristol Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A level, LINEAR walk, following pavements through industrial Avonmouth and then paths to Severn Beach. Some busy roads to get out of Avonmouth but peaceful contrasts later.
Coffee stop part-way. Bring own refreshments.
Severn Beach has 2 cafes and a bakery that serves cakes and coffee. Toilets at end near station.
Use Severn Beach Line trains : dep. Temple Meads 09.46. Arr. Avonmouth 10.13.
Dep. Severn Beach 10.01. Arr. Avonmouth10.11.
Street parking at Severn Beach then get train to Avonmouth for start of walk.
OR park at Avonmouth (street parking) and return to Severn Beach by train at end of walk. Trains at 01 minutes past each hour.
