The walk takes us up across Muncaster Fell from Eskdale to reach Ravenglass by the sea. Depending on time and the weather we will decide whether to walk back via a different route or catch a train. Lots of interest and views on the way. Moderate to strenuous given length and undulating terrain. The full circular route from Eskdale Green is 11.5 miles.
Meet at the train station for Eskdale Green. Please note we will not be railway patrons so please check car park signage carefully if you intend to park there. There is public parking in Eskdale Green approx 10 minutes walk away at Smithy Brow car park by Giggle Alley. This is P and D
