Overview

A fine walk to start off the New Year, either 4 or 6 miles. The walk takes us into Eton through Eton College playing fields and then down Common Road to the railway arches which we follow all the way to meet the Thames. We walk a short section of the Thames Path across the Brocas Fields into the top end of Eton High Street. We will have a refreshment break on the Eton-Windsor Bridge. There is an option to shorten the walk here and return to Upton Court Park along Eton High Street/ Slough Road. For those wanting a longer 6 mile walk we continue on the Thames Path to Victoria Bridge and back across Datchet Golf Course. Bring a drink and snack.
