Free Public Car Park next to St Johns the Baptist Church, Church Road, Layer de la Haye, (grid ref TL 965 193, post code CO2 0EW). Leisurely walk south of Layer with lovely evening views of Abberton Reservoir allowing for a 10 minutes break halfway. Optional drink afterwards at the Layer Fox pub, a few minutes drive from the meeting place.
