An evening walk around some of the wild and beautiful moorland surrounding Goonhilly. We hope to have good weather for a lovely, flatish walk. There is a strenuous section where we have to climb a fence which crosses the path. After the walk we will visit a site where Nightjars are regular visitors and hope to hear and hopefully see them. As the Nightjars usually start being active at dusk we will be out in the twilight so a torch for the short walk back to the cars would be helpful.
Booking essential, please email Mickee using the email bar.
Please bring a drink and snacks.
There is limited parking at the site, so car sharing would be great.
Dogs are welcome on the walk but will need to be left in the cars whilst we look for the Nightjars.
If the forecast changes dramatically the walk may be cancelled.
