Overview

A double bill of walks! Firstly a guided walk starting from the Lord Nelson pub led by Nigel Hardacre in conjunction with the Lancaster Canal Trust finishing at 1.00pm. Following this guided walk there will be an optional 5 mile walk around the Brindle area from the Lord Nelson starting at 2pm.

Please note that the Lord Nelson does not serve snacks or light lunches only main meals but they do really good pizzas! So if anybody wants to share a pizza instead of carrying sandwiches there will be time for a drink and lunch before the second walk of the day.

If anyone does not want to do the canal walk but just wants to do the afternoon walk only at 2pm, you don't need to book, just turn up at the Lord Nelson.
