We are the Rutland Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

From the green we head down the road past the school then turn right heading towards cuckoo farm join the road and then head to the fish farm and towards Fort Henry turn left over the stile then head over the hill heading towards Exton and the cars.
Refreshments afterwards should be available at the Fox and Hounds in Exton. This pub closes at 9 p.m. on Wednesdays so stops on the walk will be minimal!!
The walk is relatively flat. There is no mud to speak of and only one stile. However, we do encounter some very long grass so gaiters etc might be advisable if we have had recent rain.
Dogs are accepted on this walk, although they must be on leads at all times.
Please consider car sharing arrangements with other members to reduce the pressure on parking spots at the start of the walk.
In the event of severe weather, please contact the leader on the day of the walk to check the walk is still on.
