Street parking on the B5404
just after the Mercedes Garage.
The walk will start from the lay-by on Watling Street, opposite the Mercedes Garage
at Mile Oak.
The walk follows the Heart of England Way to Hints Farm and village, across the old Watling Street and the bridge under the A5.
Then green lanes to Knox's Grave Lane and Hopwas for the pub stop at the Red Lion.
Sandwiches can be eaten by the Canal.
After lunch, we follow the Coventry Canal footpath back to Bonehill and the start point.
