We are the Dearne Valley Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Join us for a festive day out at Nostell on the outskirts of Wakefield. Meet in the National Trust car park at Nostell (free for NT members, £5 per car for non members) for a 4 mile leisurely walk around the historic 18th century parkland and Wragby village. After lunch, if you wish, you may like to take the opportunity for a look round the mansion beautifully decorated for Christmas - please note NT membership or a garden ticket (£8.00) will be required for house entry. Cafe available though can get busy.
Dogs welcome in parkland, but dogs are not allowed in the gardens or mansion. Cafe is dog friendly. Dogs must be on a fixed lead please. Parkland and woodlands may be muddy after rain.
