We are the Kingswood Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This walk will take us around Clifton where we can admire some beautiful architecture and stunning views. The walk is mostly flat, but there is one steep incline, a couple of gradual inclines and a flight of steep steps that we will need to climb down.
Some of the paths may be covered in leaves, so walking boots with good grip would be recommended.
With Christmas only a couple of weeks away lets have some fun. This can be an opportunity to show off your Christmas jumpers, hats or any other festive attire. We will be stopping for a short break halfway round, so do bring a hot drink and snacks if you like. We will have a drink in the Channings Hotel at the end of the walk.
Channings Hotel, 20 Pembroke Road, Clifton, Bristol, BS8 3BB. On Sundays we can park in residents’ parking spaces in Pembroke Road and neighbouring streets, but do check the permissions and give yourself time to find a space.
