The footpath takes us through to the Llon Eifion where we walk towards Caernarfon for 1/4 of a mile and then onto the North Wales coastal path across fields and along farm tracks and past several lovely old farmhouses. There are beautiful views of the mountains and the sea at times. We join the Pilgrims path and cross the Afon Llyfni, and walk towards Llanllyfni, rejoining the Llon Eifion for the last 3/4 of a mile back to Penygroes
Grade D 5 miles 200ft ascent
