Overview

Drive to and park at Fife Folk Museum, Ceres. Take bus from Ceres to St. Andrews. Bus 64 leaves Ceres at 09.24 and arrives at stop adjacent to the Students Union, St Marys Place, at 10.04.  Walk (10min.) to St. Andrews Cathedral.

From the Cathedral we head towards Craigtoun Country Park.  In the park the path meanders through the woods with navigation being tricky. On leaving the park the route heads towards the beautiful village of Ceres using country lanes and passes through very rural countryside. The route climbs fairly high over the flanks of Drumcarrow Craig, with great views.
