Overview

From Manley Common the walk goes through the northern section of Delamere Forest before entering a lovely wooded valley towards Woodhouse Hill.

A gentle ascent of the hill is rewarded with great views towards the Mersey.

We return along a short section of the Longster Trail and past Alvanley Hall and Manley Old Hall.

The mince pies and a tot of damson gin are optional!
