We are the Southwell Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This is a moderate 7 mile walk with 500 feet of ascent, starting from the top of Skeg Hill, ca 500 metres south west of Lowesby, and visiting Queniborough Brook, South Croxton, Fox Coverts with views of Baggrave Hall.
Parking is on grass roadside verges.
The ground is likely to be very muddy and slippy with pools of standing water. There are several challenging stiles and 2 large, heavily ploughed fields that have to be crossed.
