Overview

A walk from Frosterley, through the disused Broadwood quarry, to Low Bishopley and then down the Bollihope valley to the Harehope quarry.  We will follow a permissive path through the nature reserve in the quarry seeing some beautiful orchids, and then  continuing to the River Wear and following the river back to the start,.

Frosterley railway station car park. Go through Frosterley (from the east), and at the end of the village, turn left towards Middleton. The car park is 50m down on your left.
