We are the Watford & Three Rivers Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
The morning walk of 5.7 miles takes in the two iconic reservoirs of the Tring summit and the charming Rothschild estate village of Wilstone. The afternoon walk of 4 miles starts at 1.30pm and goes north east along the Grand Union Canal towards Pitstone. Binoculars useful! Bring a picnic lunch to eat alongside the canal and drinks for the day but there is both a cafe and pub locally.
Please meet at Startops End Car Park, Marsworth near Tring HP23 4LJ. Grid ref SP919141.. This is a pay and display cashless car park which can be paid either by contactless or phone. Cost is £4.00 for 24hrs.
Participants on this walk need to have suitable footwear and equipment and be able to walk the distance and terrain so please consider this before booking. If you are unsure then please contact the walk leader before booking to ascertain whether this walk is suitable for you.
The leader has set a limit of 18 walkers and requires you to book.

If your plans change please let the leader know in case there is a waiting list. Your details will be used solely for the purpose of the walk and will then be destroyed.
